WARRANTY
At SP Bindings, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products.
Warranty Coverage
- Lifetime Warranty – All baseplates are covered for the lifetime of the product against defects in materials or workmanship.
- 2-Year Warranty – All other binding parts (including straps, buckles, and highbacks) are covered for two years from the date of purchase.
What does “Lifetime” mean? “Lifetime” refers to the reasonable lifetime of the product — based on the materials, intended use, and frequency of riding — not the lifetime of the buyer.
What’s Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
- Broken or cracked baseplates (lifetime coverage).
- Defective straps, buckles, or highbacks (within 2 years).
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, scratches, or fading.
- Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper mounting/adjustments.
- Damage from modifications, non-SP parts, or repairs by unauthorized services.
- Products purchased second-hand, from unauthorized sellers, or auction sites.
Authorized Dealers
Warranty is valid only for products purchased from authorized SP Bindings dealers. An authorized dealer is a retailer or online shop officially approved by SP Bindings. Purchases from unauthorized sellers (e.g. private resales, auction sites, or unverified marketplace listings) are not eligible for coverage.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe your binding has a warranty issue, please email us at support@sp-bindings.eu with the following:
- Proof of purchase
- Product details (model, size, year if known)
- Clear photos of the issue
Our warranty team will review your claim within 5–7 business days. If approved, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement.
Repair or Replacement
- If possible, we’ll repair the product using genuine SP spare parts.
- If repair is not possible, we’ll replace with the same model or, if unavailable, with an equivalent model.
- Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Product Condition
For safety and hygiene reasons, bindings must be clean and dry before being sent in. Products received in poor condition may result in delayed service.
